Nestled atop a charming residence, Lush Cafe emerges as a testament to innovative design and collaborative vision. The client’s unique request to transform a portion of their residence into a thriving commercial rooftop cafe posed intriguing challenges. Chief among these challenges was the need to control the climate, especially during the unpredictable rainy season. Extensive civil changes were necessary, involving structural modifications, electrical and plumbing upgrades, and the meticulous integration of residential and commercial elements. What truly distinguished this project was the involvement of five clients, each contributing their ideas and preferences to shape the end result. Despite the intricate changes, the design team also successfully retained and integrated existing elements, adding character and depth to the space. Lush Cafe’s aesthetics draw inspiration from nature, with earthy tones, botanical accents, and lush greenery creating an inviting ambiance.
